Spanning 5,800 square feet, the renovation aimed to create five distinct preschool spaces, each approximately 600 square feet in size, complete with loft perspectives to enhance the learning environment. The project also included the installation of a new plywood sub-floor throughout, providing a sturdy foundation for the facility's various amenities and activities.

Key project features include:
•Preschool Spaces: The project converted the office space into five separate preschool areas, each thoughtfully designed to accommodate young learners and foster creativity and exploration.
•Operable Partition: Operable partitions were installed between the preschool spaces, offering flexibility in room configuration to adapt to varying class sizes and activities.
•Steel Angle Lintels: New steel angle lintels were installed to create openings in the existing clay masonry wall, allowing for improved spatial flow and connectivity between different areas of the facility.
•Storage Space: Cubbies were installed in all preschool spaces, providing children with designated areas to store their belongings and fostering a sense of ownership and organization.
•Staff Offices: The expansion project included dedicated staff offices to support administrative functions and ensure efficient management of the preschool facility.
•Kitchen: A fully equipped kitchen was incorporated into the design, enabling staff to prepare nutritious meals and snacks for the children in accordance with health and safety standards.
•Washrooms and Baby Change Stations: Each preschool space was equipped with washrooms and baby change stations, prioritizing the comfort and convenience of both children and caregivers.
